With a lot of work and great commitment, we converted this listed property, using only natural and environmentally friendly materials such as clay bricks and clay plaster. The old oak windows and wooden floors, the old beams and the old wooden paneling were preserved. and restored in painstaking detail.

You are sitting here in a house that was built with centuries-old materials and can practically relive the “old days”. The clay walls absorb moisture and release it again when it is dry, creating a healthy indoor climate.

n addition to our now well-known house ZUM ALTEN WEINKELLER with its upscale cuisine, we want to offer the more rustic regional cuisine here at the LANDGASTHOF ENGEL, and also offer guests a sophisticated ambience who just want to have a glass of wine and a little something to eat want to leave four walls.
